Make them last! 3 How can we make fossil fuel supplies last longer? 4 Write down five ways of reducing the amount of fossil fuels we use. 7Ib

Make them last! 5 Imagine that your parents have chosen one of the following ways of using less energy: Cycle more; take the train instead of your car; use your car less; use a microwave for cooking instead of a cooker; turn down the heating and put on a jumper. 7Ib

Make them last! 5 Imagine that your parents have chosen one of the ways of using less energy shown here. Write a letter to a pen friend, describing the difference it has made to your life. 7Ib You could save 3% a week by putting a jumper and keeping your house 1 degree cooler 62% of all journeys between one and two miles are made by car when it’s often quicker to cycle. Cycling also cuts pollution and keeps you fit! It costs less to use a microwave! Cooking vegetables in the microwave tales less then half the energy it takes to boil them in a pan.

Make them last! 3 How can we make fossil fuel supplies last longer? Use less energy. 4 Write down five ways of reducing the amount of fossil fuels we use. using a car that uses less petrol; walking or cycling to school; using buses rather than cars; putting on a jumper instead of turning the heating up; cooking in a microwave. 7Ib
