Intro – What to bring: 1.Motorcycle w/ keys 2.Gear 1.Helmet 2.Full leathers/textiles 3.Boots/Gloves/Back protector 3.Tools 1.Tape 2.Tire pressure gauge 3.Zip-ties

Intro - 1.When to get there 1.Office opens at 7am 2.Gates open at 7:30am 2.How to get there To the Red Roof From the Red Roof to the track

Intro – Once at the Track 1.Sign in at the gate starting at 7am Entry into infield at 7:30 2.Drive through the tunnel to the garages Left fork in the road 3.Park, but don’t unload anything because you MUST 4.Find where you are pitted on the pit poster/board 5.Listen to announcements and get a waiver form 6.Walk to your pit to survey the scene 7.Park your vehicle close to your pit 8.Start unloading 9.Move bike into pit area 10.Start prepping your bike Prepping the bike the night before or sooner is best! 11.Introduce yourself to your instructor 12.Relax and have FUN!

Intro – Susie and Tim 1.Susie and Tim are in charge of the day 2.Pay attention for various announcements throughout the day 3.Attend the classroom sessions between the on- track sessions 4.Participate in the track walk (if offered) 5.Be sure to speak with your instructor throughout the day They want to know what you want to work on!

Fishtail’s Typical Schedule - 7:00 - TRACK OFFICE OPENS 7:30 - TRACK INFIELD OPENS. No riders allowed into the track until 7:30. 7:30 - 8:00 Have your Bike Ready for Tech Inspection. We will have people to answer your questions, but bike preparation is primarily the responsibility of the rider. 7:30 - 8:30 TECHNICAL INSPECTION - We'll be checking bikes while riders are settling in. If there is an issue, we'll let you know with a note on your bike. 8:30 - 8:50 GREETING AND SAFETY ORIENTATION IN MEDIA CENTER (Next to the Bathrooms). 9:00 – Track opens for A Group. 9:00 to 12:30 Alternating classroom and riding sessions 12:30 to 1:15 Catered lunch provided by Fratello's of Laconia followed by stories of exaggerated track prowess with your buddies (no one believes the stories, but they're fun to tell anyway) 1:15 Post-lunch safety brief and nap time for those of you that ate too much pasta at lunch. 1:30 Track reopens, academics resume 5:00 track closes 5:00 to Whenever – More exaggerated stories in the pits, pack up, go back to the real world.

Track Layout -

Track Day Do’s - 1.Listen to Susie/instructors/cornerworkers 2.Pay attention to the flags at the cornerworker stations 3.Have fun 4.Relax 5.Prepare in advance 6.***Drink water/Gatorade*** 7.Only travel on track counter-clockwise 8.Only travel in the paddock clockwise BE CAREFUL

Track Day Don'ts 1.Stop on the track Never stop and wait for your friend 2.Never stand up after a crash 3.Ride in the opposite direction 4.Ride over your comfort zone 5.Feel the need to ride every session

Bike Preparation: General prep Minimum Requirements: –Age of helmet –Age of tire/belts/chair –Throttle Snap –Brake pads –Safety Wiring –Having enough FUEL! Check your fuel level between sessions You don’t want to run out of gas on turn 6!

Trailering Advice - 1.Tie downs What types to use Good places to tie down your bike 2.Ramp usage How to tie it down 3.Chocks Different Types 4.Trailer maintenance and safety Tighten your LUG NUTS! Check your bike a few times during the trip
