Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research 3 days of collaboration and information sharing. Fourth day for Executive Meeting. Most of Day 1 and part of Day 3 SCADM and SCAGI will separate to conduct their own business. 3 guest speakers – over three days. Two speakers are from SCAR Science Projects, one speaker from Geoscience community. Meeting Overview

Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research Share our experiences and knowledge, build trust and a desire to collaborate. Gain a shared understanding of what we as peak data groups within SCAR are here to achieve. Acknowledge our strengths/weaknesses and find ways to work together to overcome weaknesses and exploit strengths. Commit to action.Goals

Time for general discussion about how we can collaborate better. –Afternoon Introduction to the concept of a Polar Information Commons and how this fits with what SCADM/SCAGI are trying to achieve. Discussions on how we can all contribute. Some concrete planning on the way forward.
