MIG-KOMM-EU – Multilingual Intercultural Business Language for Europe 5th MEETING GRUNDTVIG PROJECT Vilnius, Vilnius University 27 May, 2011

MIG-KOMM-EU EU supported project; ; coordinator – the IIK Institute for Intercultural Communication inc. (Ansbach, Berlin, Jena); within the framework of the LLP Programme (Lifelong Learning Programme) of European Commission.

MIG-KOMM-EU 8 partners from Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Lithuania – Vilnius University: –Institute of Foreign Languages, Department of German Language (Dalia Bukauskaitė); –Faculty of Philology, Department of Lithuanian Studies (Eglė Gudavičienė, Vaida Našlėnaitė-Eberhardt, Elvyra Kutanovienė, Elvyra Petrašiūnienė, Joana Pribušauskaitė).

MIG-KOMM-EU The goals of the project are the development and dissemination of language learning materials, tests for business communication. The goals are oriented towards the Common European Framework of Reference. Language learning materials (exercises, videos, and audios, instructions, glossary): language level B1-B2.

MIG-KOMM-EU Business language course (modules):  Management,  Marketing,  Service,  Intercultural communication.

MIG-KOMM-EU Management  company presentation;  product presentation;  strategy of company government;  industrial safety.  Marketing  basics of marketing;  advertisement;  language of marketing.

MIG-KOMM-EU Service  country tourism;  ecological commodities;  e-market;  insurance. Intercultural communication  culture of Lithuania;  Lithuania according to the foreigners;  body language;  difficulties of communication.

MIG-KOMM-EU Variety of tasks: listening (audio or video support); reading; language usage (vocabulary & grammar); communication; writing. Quiz about Lithuania. Business vocabulary. WIKI.

MIG-KOMM-EU Tests: B2; common model for all languages; communicative approach of language learning; piloting; bank of the tasks.
