Sentence Paraphrase Y-you can’t hold our forever. Paraphrase: Though you are rigid, you can’t hold out forever. Y-you: Y is short for yeoman (刚毅的,坚毅的) Hold out:坚持到底, 不屈服 His mind had already cracked with thirst. Paraphrase: He could no longer think properly because of thirst.
