AED SEH Kick-off meeting 3-4 November Building Partnerships for Development In Water and Sanitation ‘BPD’

BPD: well-networked, multi-stakeholder perspectives and capacity towards delivering: 1)(qualitative) knowledge management and learning; 2)context/stakeholder/partnership mapping and analysis; and 3)facilitation (across teams, across partner organisations, across stakeholder groups). Solid relationships across the board with public (including regulatory function), private, civil society and donors. (PPPs for service delivery not product delivery.) Key contributions to SEH

Country opportunities Ethiopia – challenging for NGOs at present but interesting context Madagascar – would complement forthcoming GSF work & support emerging WASH policy priorities Nepal – interesting place to work & focus on small town delivery Cambodia – small town experience & context Haiti – clear opportunities but v. difficult context
