Principles Behind Recommendations Recommend BCCs for new Municipality, where needed Recommend disbandment of unneeded BCCs Maximize citizen participation where possible and tap local expertise Obtain efficiencies and savings where possible Provide training and education of citizen participants Encourage improved inclusive process of candidate review Note: Each BCC will require new members to be appointed, effective 1/1/13 32 Existing BCCs reviewed by Subcommittee
