Pedagogy Replace the lecture Think about creating an experience that puts the student “in charge” of the learning. Be creative Take advantage of the world wide web. But finding good content takes time. Research suggests that students are more likely to succeed when they interact with each other.

Resources Streaming Video Podcasts. Record “face to face” lectures and offer to online class as a podcast. Search in google for “ ______ podcast” NPR and the OAH have a great assortment of podcasts. Virtual Museum Tours Art and architecture History websites Work with technology support in your college. They can build programs to enhance teaching.

Camtasia and Jing Narrate your powerpoints “capture” student papers and narrate your comments on their written work. Send as a link in . Programs such as “articulate presenter” or “soft chalk”
