Character T-Shirt Time! Ms Manning’s English 12 Class

Objectives Create a T-Shirt to:  Learn elements of character analysis  Show deep understanding of at least one of the characters listed below:  Winston  Julia  Mr. Charrington  O’Brien  Big Brother  Syme  Emmanuel Goldstein  Identify characteristics  Create a visual interpretation  Wear the shirt the day it is due to advertise the book. Bring a shirt to change into at the end of the day so that I keep the shirt

Things to Consider  Make sure your visual is true to the text.  Iron-on transfer is a good way to make your shirt.  Spelling counts, especially when you’re wearing it!
