Coach:John Downing Coach:Jeff GrimesTeam Mom:Jodi FieldsTeam Editor: Amy Downing The Redskins and the Ravens got a taste of winter on Saturday morning, it was COLD!! However, both teams gave it everything they had, and it was an amazing game. Coaches John and Jeff worked hard to get the Redskins warmed up before the game, despite the cold weather. Reminders: Practice this Saturday at Potomac Heights, 10am. Playoffs Sunday at 10am. If we advance to the Superbowl, the game takes place at 1:45pm. Come watch Coaches John and Jeff play in the “Coaches Bowl” at 1pm.

The Redskins scored first, but the Ravens were quick to match us, score for score. With seconds left on the clock, the Ravens made one last trek down the field and got into the end zone. We were now separated by one point. The Redskins defense held firm, and the extra point was no good. REDSKINS WIN!! It was a close game, but once again, Will, Kolton, Jacob, Satchel, Peyton, Kyle, Nicholas, Maxine, Garrett and Patrick you make us all proud. Way to play!! Check out our game pictures! Since we are in second place, we will not have to play in the first round of the playoffs. We will meet the first round winner at 10am this Sunday. We will have one last practice on Saturday to prepare for the game. If we are victorious during the playoffs, we will play in the Rookie Superbowl at 1:45pm. Please pass the word to family and friends to join us on the sidelines to cheer on our team! “Hail to the Redskins, hail victory, braves on the warpath, to FIGHT for old DC!”
