The environmental problems in Golovchino.

Golovchino is an old Russian village is situated in Grivoron District Belgorod Region. This village is near the Vorskla-river. It is a nice picturesque place with many green alleys and flower-beds. The central street, Karl-Marx Street, attracts much attention. It leads to the central square.

In the central square there is a monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. There is the Eternal Flame at the monument.

A lot of tourists visit Round building. It is a monument of architecture. Recently It was restored. There is a cafe and a museum in it.

As far as you can see, our settlement is very wonderful. But if everything is OK here? What is happening with our environment?

Besides, there are so many cars in the streets that pollution is awful. We are very concerned about air pollution. We are afraid of dangerous gases. Another problem is our Vorskla River. We are worried that water is polluted. The people throw litter in the river and cause water pollution.

One more question: Do we take care of our park-garden? Very often we leave litter, plastic and glass bottles there and break and cut trees. We find this problem worrying. Can we avoid these problems? Sure! Our Advice

We must not make fires. We destroy the forest.

We think it is necessary to feed animals in winter and build bird-houses. We should protect wildlife.

We mustn't throw litter in the river. We cause water pollution. We mustn't throw litter in the river. We cause water pollution. We should be friends to fish and don't throw garbage into their homes. The fish is damaged and die and it is dangerous for people to swim in dirty water.

We should always put garbage in the garbage bins. It would be nice if we had a recycling centre in our settlement.

We should always plant baby trees and a lot of flowers.

We think it would be a good idea to have a 'no car' day.

Conclusion: The Earth is our Home. We should take care of it. Everybody should do his best to make the world a better place. Let’s make our village Golovchino a place without ecological problems. For themselves. For themselves. For future generations.
