What is Hoarding  Failing to discard a large amount or number of items that have little to no value  Severe cluttering of person’s home; no longer able to function as a viable living space

Question 1  How has society’s views on hoarding changed overtime? Considering that in the earlier years, individuals were seen as “pack rats”, but are now seen as a threat to society? Was it a hidden issue?

Question 2  How has the media negatively or positively impacted hoarding? Have our minds been altered to believe things said about hoarding?

Question 3  “I am not who I think I am, I am who I think you think I am” – Cooley’s Looking Glass  How does this quotation link with an individual’s mind who suffers from compulsive hoarding?
