Multivitamins Multivitamins are a great way to supplement vitamins and minerals when you just aren’t able to get enough. But don’t totally replace the fruits with vitamins. They don’t have all of the benefits of fruits and vegetables, such as fiber.

Fruits Contain many vitamins and fiber. Contain powerful antioxidants. They help fight diseases and supports your immune system. Combining regular everyday fruits with more unusual fruits, as in a smoothie, can help you get all of the vitamins and minerals that you are missing in your diet.

Vegetables Contain many vitamins and fiber. They also contain antioxidants. Vegetables contain vitamins that keep all of the systems in your body working normally.

Fruits and Vegetables vs. Multivitamins All in all, vitamins do contain many different vitamin, but if you eat a wide range of colors in your fruits and veggies, you can get them all. Research shows that daily multivitamin use won’t stop you from getting cancer or heart disease. Because of the antioxidants and licopeen in fruits and vegetables, they can help prevent cancer and heart disease

Fun Facts You should eat two to three portions of fruits and vegetables every day. Fruits and vegetables have lost the vitamin content because of new age farming processes. Bell peppers can be green, yellow, orange, and purple.
