The Path of the Sanctified Matthew 5:6

Objective  Thinking about our real needs, the righteousness of God in our lives.

 The best news that we have, is that God is interested in filling the deepest desire Heart and feel peace that is constant and true.

 This wonderful statement of Jesus beginning with the word "blessed" which means being satisfied, secure, having all that you need, be full of joy.

 The world makes emphasis on what one has, the commandments makes emphasis on what one does, but also goes beyond the Beatitudes, they focus on what one is. (Matthew 5:1-6)

 What does it mean that we hunger for righteousness?  Righteousness is not something that men do. Like truth, righteousness is involved in a person whose name is Jesus. "Who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and redemption." (1 Co 1:30)

 When is the significance of being hungry and thirsty for righteousness, this person really hungers and thirsts for Jesus Christ (John 6:35, 51-58) (Isaiah 55:1-2)

 Hidden Thirst is Jesus Christ himself, the deepest need of our life can only be satisfied through a relationship with God through his son that Jesus Christ, who is the righteousness of all our desires, God, and Jesus is not a person who we should imitate, but reflect.

 Given what we said about evangelism and beggars seeking bread, let us see three secrets of beggars who find it.

How can I look for this bread?

1. First (over all things)  Jesus is speaking here of hunger and thirst. All know what it's like to experience hunger as hunger is natural. Now we need to experience spiritual hunger.

 God created us to be hungry and thirsty, there is nothing wrong with it, but if we are looking for food and water first, we were wrong (Mt 6:31-33)  God does not take second place after anything or anyone; he has to be sought first.

 He does not work on us if we he is in second place. Most people do not want to seek righteousness, but blessings. What we really need is not bliss and satisfaction, or happiness, what we need is Jesus.  Jesus does not say blessed are those who hunger and thirst for happiness, but righteousness.

 The lack of joy, peace, personal fulfillment, etc... are just the symptoms that show that something is wrong, and you're symptoms help us to find the remedy that is Jesus Christ

2. Seeking Passion  From what the Lord is talking about is hunger and thirst.  Evidence of a person who is hungry and thirsty:

 A) Deliberate search. Jesus is not talking about someone who has appetite, but someone who is bankrupt, broken and hungry minded. However the minds of these people are only interested in food and water.  B) Determined search. A hungry person will pay a price  C) Desperate search. (Proverbs 27:7)

 Do we look to Jesus Christ as our greatest need?  The day I seek Him we will find him, and when we find him "we shall be filled".

3. Continuously  We've all spent time thinking "I'm so full that I think I will never eat again" but within a few hours we are back looking for food. God allows in the physical realm that we have a continuous appetite, so we can have continuous satisfaction.

 The thing is to not be satisfied at once,  In the same way, every time we get satisfied in the Lord Jesus Christ we should be more hungry for righteousness.
