Enterprise Business Unit Tamil Nadu Circle ICN PROJECT COMPRISES OF THE FOLLOWING CAMPUS WIDE Optical Fibre CABLING Network STRUCTURED DATA CABLING (SDC) NETWORK SWITCHES CAMPUS WIDE WI-FI Network SIP SERVER AND SIP PHONES

Enterprise Business Unit Tamil Nadu Circle Integrated Communication network is designed and implemented for the provision of Voice & data connectivity between various departments /Buildings of an University BSNL Tamilnadu circle has completed the project in two phases This network is designed on OFC cable Structured Data cable is provided for LAN connectivity Core and Distribution switches are installed for estabilishing LAN network with various VLANs. Wi Fi network for internet access The University has BSNL internet connectivity for accessing internet through LAN ICN project-Design

Enterprise Business Unit Tamil Nadu Circle OPTICAL FIBRE CABLING. Optical Fibre is laid within the campus for a distance of nearly 25 Kms. OF Cable of various capacities like 96F,24 F, and 12 F are laid inside the campus. These cables are used to connect nearly 90 buildings in Ring and Star Topology for redundancy.

Enterprise Business Unit Tamil Nadu Circle STRUCTURED DATA CABLING (SDC ) 1.SDC done for various buildings and labs within the campus of nearly 1500 points in 90 buildings. 2.These points are used for Voice and Data. 3.SIP Phones are deployed for Voice.

Enterprise Business Unit Tamil Nadu Circle Wi-Fi Campus wide Wi-Fi connectivity is given for the University. This covers nearly 400 acres of the campus with nearly 250 A.P.s of various types like Power station,Nano station and Pico Station. By this facility any where any time internet connectivity is possible. Seamless roaming between A.P.s is also provided.

Enterprise Business Unit Tamil Nadu Circle SIP SERVER AND SIP PHONES I.SIP Server is installed in the campus for integrating Voice and Data. II.SIP phones are installed for Voice Communication. III.Nearly 500 extensions in SIP and 300 analogue extensions are working in the SIP SERVER IV.Analogue PABX can also be integrated with SIP Server. V.Video Phones and Soft phones are deployed over SIP Server.
