When describing a person you may want to use some of the following phrases

it had been an honor to know contributed to my life it’s quite rare to come across such a person he / she made a strong impact on me he/she enjoys an outstanding reputation I appreciate his/her special characteristics

The following grammar forms can be useful in descriptive writing

Notice: the relative clauses are an advanced structure ה- relative clause הוא פסוקית (נושא ופועל) בתוך משפט, המתחילים במילים which, that, where, when, who, whom, whose ומטרתה להוסיף מידע על שם העצם שבא לפניה או על חלקו הראשון של המשפט. בעברית ניתן להשתמש ב"ש". For example: The man whose paintings are exquisite won’t sell them. The play, which was produced on a low budget, is outstanding

Gerunds Present Perfect Past Perfect Don’t forget also to use more advanced structures such as: Gerunds Present Perfect Past Perfect You must use at least five advanced structures in your writing!

WHAT ABOUT THE BASIC TENSES? ... You might ask In descriptive writing the simple tenses are more useful so make sure you know how to use the Present Simple or Past Simple
