Why Work Extra Hours? Build rapport with faculty Get faculty ready for the tech part of Common Core Make faculty more computer literate in small group setting—they come because they want to, not because they are made to get the hours The school pays us extra but not what we are worth (LOL) The district gives PD credit for attendance and uses their signup system for registration--- My Learning Plan Teachers from around the county hear by word-of- mouth and some who aren’t working and need hours It is free PD; it is short and to the point; one concept at a time

Caveat Make sure the video clips and websites are not blocked on teacher accounts Sometimes you have more rights than the regular classroom teacher Nothing can ruin a one hour workshop like not being able to play the intro YouTube video Make sure you have guest logins for those that show up who are not in your district

Our idea came from Tony Vincent!
