Where is Williamsburg ?

Williamsburg, Virginia A tourist destination for American history – Williamsburg was the capitol of Virginia at the time of the American Revolution – The center of the town is now a living history park & archeological site with most buildings restored to 1700s appearance Also in the area – Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in America – The Yorktown battlefield (last battle in Rev. War)

William & Mary est Alumni include Thomas Jefferson (Author of the United States Declaration of Independence, 3 rd American President) Wren Hall – original campus main hall William Small Physical Laboratory Physics department has 16 faculty in hadronic, particle & high energy physics (+14 others) 4 in neutrino experiment Ph.D. program accepting ~14 students per year
