J’habiteEn (feminine) France - France Ecosse – Scotland Au ( masculine) Canada – Canada pays de Galles – Wales Aux (plural)Etats-unis ( United States) Antilles (West Indies) J’habite en Australie The French names of countries and regions have genders ( either feminine or masculine). For example, la Belgique and l’Australie are feminine and le Canada is masculine. Les Etats-unis is plural. Below are the different ways each country would be approached.
