What is an Exaggerated Immune Response? An allergic response to foreign antigens such as pollen and dust. Hay Fever – an allergic reaction when your immune system responds to foreign material in the air you breathe. –itchy, puffy, watery eyes and red, stuffy nose signal changes in the seasons

What is an autoimmune response? When antibodies or immune lymphoid cells are produced against the body's own tissues. Lupus – a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder where the immune system can’t tell the difference between harmful substances and healthy ones. –Results in an overactive imune resonse that attacks therwise healthy cells and tissue.
