Now it’s time to set specific GOALS FOR YOURSELF to take you where you want to go on your career pathway. “A goal is a dream with a deadline.” --Napoleon Hill

Setting a S.M.A.R.T. GOAL A SMART Goal is: S pecific…….detailed, not vague or confusing M easurable..the result can be evaluated. A ttainable….it is reachable. R ealistic…….it makes sense. T ime Bound…it has an appropriate target date.

Activity: Set a S.M.A.R.T. GOAL 1.Write your SMART goal on a piece of paper. 2.Be sure it is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and is time bound. 3.A sample goal: “My goal is to get a 3.5 GPA this semester.” 4.Share your goal with a classmate.

How to attain your GOAL... One goal. Examine your motivation. Start small. Really, really want it. Commit publicly. Get excited. Print it out, post it up. Turn it into a picture. Reward yourself.
