Does art mean the same in all cultures? Do all cultures have visual art? Art as provocative and political force? (Art as critic voice in the society.) (Art as mean of maintaining social structures/power. What about cultural visual/influence? ) Cultural differences and similarities. The concept of beauty? Who/what determines the standards of beauty? Art and beauty (Aesthetic values) (Here kitsch is a key word?) Can anything be art? Art/fashion, cartoons, films, advertisement - when do they become art? Does art play any role in our daily life? Does art concern me? Can art contribute to increased understanding of other subjects?
