Created between 1501 and It is a 17 foot statue of a male standing nude. The statue represents the biblical hero of David. Created by Michelangelo between 1508 and The ceiling shows stories from the bible, such as creation of Adam, Adam and Eve in the garden, and, Many other great stories. It is about 131 feet long and 43 feet wide.

-Michelangelo did a lot for the Renaissance. He influenced many other great artist like Rafael. He influenced the Renaissance by painting and sculpting human figures in life- like poses. And by creating life-like paintings that were 3D of that time.
