33 What I planned to accomplish To launch a series of digital preservation awareness workshops. How I saw myself carrying out your plan To plan for two fall workshops of 2012 and two workshops in What resources I neededNetwork with faculty and Dean of Council to support the workshop. My expected challengesRecruitment of Faculty and staff to participate in the awareness workshops. My six-month plan DigCCurr Professional Institute

44 How I carried out the plan (or components of the plan) First was to further my research knowledge on basic preservation. Then create a series of presentations that would meet to create awareness of digital preservation on the campus of JCSU. What changed about my plan The number of workshops Need for a marketing plan to get buy in for the awareness workshops. My biggest successesI created the first presentation I developed a survey to begin to collect data on faculty and staff knowledge on what is digital preservation. I hosted one presentation on what is digital preservation and why should you care? My biggest challengesAttendance. What I accomplished DigCCurr Professional Institute

55 What I will accomplish by next January Plan for two more awareness workshops. How I will carry this out I will continue to host the awareness workshops in the faculty sandbox. However, I plan on distributing the survey via electronically to collect baseline data. I will incorporate some incentives to help with promotions and completion of the survey. What resources will be most helpful? NA What I expect to be the biggest challenges I think with prizes and food I will be able to get a bigger responds. The biggest challenge I see is implementing a campus wide policy for digital preservation. Future goals DigCCurr Professional Institute
