Do Now: Answer questions 1-3 in your notebook based on chart  1.Which nation suffered the most military deaths among the Allies? 1.Which nation suffered the most military deaths among the Central Powers? 2.Why did you think the United States had fewer casualties?

Trench Warfare – soldiers would hide in trenches & then go ‘over the top’ to attack. ‘No Man’s Land’ – are between enemy trenches, leaving the trench put you in the line of fire. Propaganda – the spreading of ideas to promote a certain cause or to damage an opposing cause.
