North Dakota High Altitude Balloon Student Payload Competition Coordinator – Katrina Jackson, Space Studies Graduate Student

Competition Student groups grades 6-Undergraduate asked to submit proposals for a high altitude balloon payload Under 2 pounds, less than 12” on a side, no live animals, describe its objectives Cash prizes for the science departments, grand prize trip to UND School of Aerospace Sciences

The Groups - Dickinson Testing the viability of two strands of bacteria Not able to come to the postponed launch weekend

The Groups - Cavalier Testing the effects of the upper atmosphere on eggs
