Task Card 1 (front) A bakery is a store that produces and sells flour-based food baked in an oven like bread, cakes, pastries and pies. Bakery shops designs cakes and other product for special occasions as weddings, birthdays, or any other parties.

Task Card 1 (back) Watch the video “Lili Monster Cup cake Recipe” and the “Baking- how to make chocolate cake” to decide what you want to bake. Search in the provided books and magazines for recipes of chocolate cake. Pick 2 different recipes and compare all measures for each ingredients and explain the differences between the 2 bakery products.

Task Card 1 Second Activity Let´s cook! 1.Find a friend who also will like to bake a chocolate cake. Use 2 different recipes 2.Get all ingredients you need. Use the appropriated tools to measure the right amount for each. 3.Follow step by step the recipe to cook and bake your goody. 4.Taste the 2 recipes cakes, then judge your baked products. Which one you like better? Decide what ingredient made it taste better.

Task Card 1 Third Activity TV Show 1. Invite some of your friends (max 6), to come and participate in your TV show. 2.Give your friends a piece of each cake recipe to taste and judge them in a scale where 5 is delicious and 1 is not tasty. 3.Create a graph to contrast your results. Finally decide and recommend which is the Best recipe.
