Development through partnership: What and why? What: The sustainable and continuing development of the Internet in the Asia Pacific in a way that is open, stable and secure Why: We are committed to helping the AP region grow and develop, but we cannot do it on our own – we need partners

APNIC manages ISIF Asia secretariat, as part of its commitment to support Internet growth, to facilitate networking and information exchange throughout the Internet community.

ISIF Asia: 2009 to submissions from 26 AP economies Around 2.5 million AUD has been allocated to 59 projects from 22 AP economies, showcasing innovation, cooperation, and technical knowledge 40 grants and 19 awards supporting initiatives in Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Cook Is, India, Kiribati, Indonesia, Malaysia, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nepal, NZ, Niue, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Thailand, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Vietnam ISIF Asia operates through a partnership between IDRC, Sida, and APNIC with sponsorship from APIA, ICANN, Internet Society, and Dot Asia
