Definition of Robot A robot is a mechanical mechanism that moves and interacts with its environment and displays or mimics some form of intelligence.

Do the Robot (Tasks of Robots) Security Hazardous environment exploration Transporting goods around Assembly line Placing components

Applications SCARA (Selective Compliant Assembly Robot Arm) Used to assemble microchips PatrolBot general service robot creates floor plans can be used for tasks such as deliveries or security MER-A (Mars Exploration Rover - A) geological and other surveys on mars

Patrolbot The Patolbot is an autonomous general function service robot built by MobileRobots inc. PatrolBot can scan buildings, create floor plans and navigate them autonomously using a laser range-finding sensor inside the robot. As a Wi-Fi device, it can operate autonomously or be controlled remotely.
