Diaper Usage Analysis By Eric Hays

Project Objective Determine how many diapers are used daily by my twin babies. Determine what this is costing me on a monthly basis. Compare my results to the 8-12 diapers per day average stated in books.

Data Collection Data collected over 24 days. Time of day of each diaper change was recorded for each baby.

Data Analysis Number of diapers per day (each baby separately and both together) Time between diaper changes (each baby) Distribution of diaper changes throughout a 24 hour period (each baby separately and both together)

Results 485- Total number of diapers over 24 days 245- Evelyn 240- Violet At 10 per baby per day- 600 diapers in a 30 day month

Results At $29 per 228 Cosco) Monthly cost- $76.32 The book rate of 8-12 diapers per baby per day is accurate
