PerformancePLUS In your schools and classrooms Brenda Dorrell (cell) (office)

| PerformancePLUS Background Introduced with Component V Houses the Measure B assessments Optional for Districts to use PerformacePLUS to administer/track Measure B (could use DSC or own options) Limited training. Some through state data coaches. Intended to be used for classroom assessments to help inform instruction 2

| PerformancePLUS & eSchoolPLUS Easily move between TAC and PerformancePLUS by clicking links within the screen. Switch from a class roster in TAC to the same roster in PerformancePLUS to access assessments. Switch from a student profile in eSchoolPLUS to the same student’s detail page within PerformancePLUS. Review student eSchoolPLUS details and click over to PerformancePLUS to see the longitudinal performance data. 3

| NEW!! eSchoolPLUS 3.0 SP1 Transfer assessment scores from PerformancePLUS into eSchoolPLUS gradebook! Teachers can select which assessments to bring data over for, down to the specific section. 4

| Why PerformancePLUS? Access a single point of reference for all assessment data. A resource to build assessments to reflect students’ needs and the district curriculum. Document the district’s/school’s assessments to ensure district/school-wide consistency and reflect data-driven decisions. Integrate with eSchoolPLUS for a “one stop shop” for all student information. 5

| How can you use PerformancePLUS… Teacher uses PerformancePLUS to access the Content Library or Assessment Bank Creates assessments, practice items, exit tickets with items linked to CCSS in minutes from a searchable item bank Administer assessments to students either online, bubble sheets or paper pencil from “housed” online tests Selected response items graded through PerformancePLUS, open- ended items hand-scored Selected response data is instantly available Data is displayed in over 30 user friendly reports With new release of eSchoolPLUS test scores may be linked from PerformancePLUS

| 7 On Line Assessment Content Library

| Question Types in PerformancePLUS Multiple Correct Multiple Choice Question - ALL With this question type, the student must choose all the multiple correct answers to receive credit for the question. Multiple Correct Multiple Choice Question – Partial Credit With this question type, the student can receive partial credit for each correct answer they choose. With scoring penalties for choosing incorrect answers.

| Question Types in PerformancePLUS Short Answer – (aka – fill in the blank) With this question type a student is required to enter a short response. Typically it would be a number or a word, or short phrase. The system allows for unlimited characters for the students response. The system will automatically score these question types, because it knows the ‘correct answer’. A ‘symbol’ button is available which allows special characters to be entered (example: square root symbol, exponents, fractions etc..)

| Question types in PerformancePLUS Open Ended/Constructed Responses With this question type a student is required to enter an extended response. Teachers have the ability to review the responses online and can score them. A ‘symbol’ button is available which allows special characters to be entered (example: square root symbol, exponents, fractions etc..)

| Special Characters beyond the keyboard in PerformancePLUS There is a ‘symbol’ button next to each of the short-response/open-ended questions. When the student clicks that button, a pop-over panel is displayed where the student would be able to select one or more special characters/symbols.
