 A design & technology multi-media showcase of middle and high school student work.  Digital Lee will coincide with the Fort Myers Art Walk and Music Walk events, providing an opportunity for individuals and business leaders throughout our community to experience the most exceptional and innovative student work in our region.  The best of our Graphic Design, Filmmaking, Video Game Development, and Web Design departments will be highlighted.

 Digital Lee was established to create a more relevant, community, and career focused learning experience for the technology students of the Lee County School District. We strive to provide exposure for our students, thereby spurring career and internship opportunities, scholarship awards, and local technology involvement that will continue to make Southwest Florida a thriving and culturally rich community.  With each successive year of Digital Lee, we hope our students will gain a broader understanding of the Design Industry, learn from the ingenuity of their peers, and advance their design skills for greater opportunity.

The Digital Lee Exhibit will kick-off on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Downtown Fort Myers. With over 10,000 SF of historic gallery space, we have an exciting opportunity to showcase the digital arts talent of Lee County's middle and high school students.

 The annual, commencement event for Digital Lee.  Our students were given the challenge of creating a logo with specific color constraints and dimension requirements to mimic a professional industry project.  Submission process will be similar for the Digital Lee Exhibit.  7/13 Lee County High Schools Participated – 59 Submissions!  Expert Judges provided feedback for the student designers to experience the professional design process.  Prizes Included : Kodak Digital Cameras, 4 GB Memory Card, 16 GB Flash Drive, 8 GB Flash Drives, $100 Best Buy Gift Card
