Population Explosion By 2050, America’s population may reach 400 million.

The Face of the Future The greatest growth rates will be in the elderly and Hispanic segments.

We’re Getting Older u People over 85 will become the fastest- growing age group. u People over 50 will represent 35% of the population. u Minority populations will represent 25% of the elderly population.

We’re Becoming More Diverse

A Growing Hispanic Influence u More Hispanic Americans will be added to the population each year than African Americans, Asian Americans, and American Indians combined. u Hispanic Americans will have the lowest death rate.
