Dream Poems By Justin Waters

“Insomnia” by Elaine Feinstein This poem is very short but I liked it because it described what the author saw when she awoken perfectly and then it ended quite well with closing words describing her mood as she is awake in the night. This poem was short but very well written and the details and the way she described things was why it was so great.

“How Far?” By John Fuller I liked the rhyme scheme this poem had and the use of words made you picture it in your head and makes you want to dig deep into the meaning of the poem, and I like poems that grab your attention into wanting to find out the meaning’s of them.

“Coming Home” by John Mole This poem is my favorite because it not only has a good flow and rhyme scheme, but it has emotion and deepness in it. The flow and rhyme scheme made it great because if it didn’t have it, the poem would be boring. What makes the poem deep and emotional is the story and the way that it is described, and emotional and deep poems are the ones that are more interesting to me because of the way they make you feel, its as if your looking into the poet’s mind and heart.
