Mission The mission of Family Planning Services/Thomason Hospital’s Teen Advisory Board is to focus on teen issues and concerns.

Teens are recruited from every middle school in the El Paso area Over 800 teens have graduated from our program We track them till they finish high school Only 6 have reported having a pregnancy before finishing high school

Parents too, must learn about these issues!! Having parental buy-in is a must, parents must attend 9 of the 14 sessions

Learning about boys, is not so easy!! The training includes interactive activities. Role Playing, Games, Presentations, etc…

HISTORY “Teens listen to Teens” -The Teen Advisory Board was designed to provide life skills training to teens. -This type of training helps to channel risk taking into positive, health enhancing choices.
