MY PROJECT ON… MATT GROENING

EARLY LIFE Matthew Abram Groening was Born February 15 th 1954 in Portland, Oregon America. He attended ainsworth elementry School and Lincoln High School From 1972 to Groeining attended the Evergreen State college in Olympia, Washington.

A FIRST… Life in hell was groeining’s First ever comic. It was inspired by a chapter From walter kaufmanns book Critique of Religion and Philosophy.

A START… Life in Hell caught the attention of Hollywood producer and Gracie Films founder James L. Brooks Groening thought of the idea for the Simpsons in the Waiting room of James L. Brooks's office and hurriedly sketched out his version of a CRAZY family Groeining famously named the main Simpson character after members of his own family.

CONTINUING ON Groeining created futrama in 1997, a decade after the simpsons.

FUTRAMA After spending a few years researching science fiction, Groening got together with Simpsons producer David X. Cohen in 1997 and created what is now known as Futurama, an animated series about life in the year 3000 including Billy West, Katey Segal and John Demagio.

COMICS Matt made comics as well as making The Simpsons and Futurama.
