Examples of Italian Food

Da Vinci is one of the best, most famous artists of all time. Arts and Cool Places Leonardo Di Vinci painted Mona Lisa. Her face is really famous all over the world. He also painted “The Last Supper” that is in many towns and homes in every country. Da Vinci is one of the best, most famous artists of all time. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was built over 800 years ago and started to lean when it was being built and leans 1mm more every year. People STILL climb it every day!! The Colosseum was built by Romans for gladiators to fight each other and sometimes for men to fight wild animals, like tigers.

Arts & Cool Places

Traditions/Cool Stuff The Tarantella is an old Italian folk dance. Some people still do the dance at festivals and sometimes with friends. In Venice, Italy people can ride through town in water canals on boats called gondolas instead of cars on streets. So cool! Italy has everything. Sunny beaches to swim at AND scary volcanoes like one called Stromboli. It is the most active volcano on earth!!

Traditions/Cool Stuff

Language in Italy In Italy they speak mostly Italian. Some people speak German or French because those countries are close. Italians use the same alphabet as us but they say it different ways. Italian words use accent marks on some letters so you say them a little different. My family does not speak Italian but I liked learning new words.
