Two Different Coins? Physical Education –Main purpose of PE-develop knowledge & skillfulness Physical Activity –Main purpose of PE is to enhance PA levels

One Coin, Different Sides Need PA to become skilled Need skillfulness/knowledge to be PA At least 50% MVPA in PE (NASPE, 2009; USDHHS, 2000) NASPE –Goals of PE; Standards –PE key to CSPAP
