Oxford-bags, knickers, and tweed jackets became extremely y popular in men’s fashion during the 1920s. Instead of wearing 3 piece suits, men began to were cotton vests. Accessories were worn.
The colors pink and blue became popular determining boys and girls. Boys wore knee length or shorter trousers. Sailor suits and rompers became popular for boys. Girls began to were hairpieces and bobby sox. Cardigans, bloomers, and knee length skirts became popular for girls. Designers made different patterns and fabric to design girl’s clothing. DEMAND FOR MATERIAL A demand for raw materials rose during the 1920s. These materials made accessories and the unique clothing for people during the 1920s.
When this dramatic change in fashion occurred, people were able to express themselves. People expressed themselves through their clothing, and they also became more social.
The Impact of This Rebirth Although the evolution of fashion had a positive impact on people’s confidence and social being, it was one cause to a historic event in America. People began to spend their money on material objects that the rebirth of fashion was a factor of the Great Depression.
