Step 1 – Identify a Training When is the Schedule Posted? The Summer Advanced Training Schedule is usually posted in APR or MAY. The Winter Advanced Training Schedule is usually posted in SEP or OCT. How will I know? Advanced Training Schedules are promulgated via NSCC Information Letter. These letters are published on the HOMEPORT website.

Click HERE to access the Training Schedule

Click on NSCC RECRUIT TRNG or Any training you are looking for. For T.S. Midway Leaguers this would read NLCC Orientation Click on NSCC RECRUIT TRNG or Any training you are looking for. For T.S. Midway Leaguers this would read NLCC Orientation

Step 2 – Complete the Request NSCTNG Request for Training Authority (Cadet) NSCTNG This form, used as a supplement to the Report of Medical History - Authorization, Consent and Release (NSCADM 020) is MANDATORY for all Cadets who are currently taking medication and will report to training with prescription and/or non- prescription (over the counter) medications. NSCADM 015 – ADA Accommodation

Step 2 – Complete the Request Complete NSCTNG Request for Training Authority (Cadet)

The Schedule

NSCTNG001 (Cadet)

Step 3 – Obtain Specific Req’s Each training has a website that advises specific instructions. This website will be noted on the schedule. Specific Training Website Pay special attention to the “REMARKS” section

Step 4 – Submit Form & Payment Submit completed NSCTNG 001 (NSCTNG 025 / 015 if applicable) to the Assistant Administrative Officer for Advanced Trainings. Payment: Money Order or Certified Bank Check. Made out to “USNSCC” for Hancock Cadets (ages 14-18) Or “NLCC” for Midway Cadets (ages 10-13). If your cadet is 13 they may be in Midway or Hancock, so please figure out what unit they are in. They should know.

But Wait…My Cadet… Is going to bring medication to a training If your cadet is bringing medications to training, you must complete NSCTNG 025 and NSCADM 015. These forms can be accessed on the Homeport Page under TRAINING FORMS for (NSCTNG 025) and ADMINISTRATIVE FORMDS for (NSCADM 015). GET ON TOP OF THIS AS THE NSCADM 015 MUST BE COMPLETED BY OUR CO, THEN APPROVED BY YOUR REGIONAL DIRECTOR AND THE NHQ REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO SUBMISSION FOR TRAINING.

ADA only NO MEDICATIONS If your cadet only has an ADA accommodation, you need only submit NSCADM 015. Please contact the Commanding Officer if you need an ADA Accommodation. GET ON TOP OF THIS AS THE NSCADM 015 MUST BE COMPLETED BY OUR CO, THEN APPROVED BY YOUR REGIONAL DIRECTOR AND THE NHQ REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO SUBMISSION FOR TRAINING.

Step 5: Sea Bag Inspection Download the Sea Bag List and round up all required items. The AT Officer will schedule a Sea Bag Inspection approximately 1 week prior to your cadet’s departure.

Click here for RTC (Recruit Training Command) – remember, this is only for this specific training. Your training webpage may differ.
