Presentation transcript:

Difference between Structured Analysis and Object Oriented Analysis? Structured Analysis and Object Oriented Analysis are different techniques of developing a computer system.

What is Target or Goal Oriented Analysis? Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a programming paradigm that uses "objects" – data structures consisting of data fields and methods together with their interactions – to design applications and computer programs.

What is UML Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a standardized general-purpose modeling language in the field of software engineering. The standard is managed, and was created by, the Object Management Group. UML includes a set of graphic notation techniques to create visual models of software-intensive systems.

What are CASE Tools? CASE tools are a class of software that automate many of the activities involved in various life cycle phases. For example, when establishing the functional requirements of a proposed application, prototyping tools can be used to develop graphic models of application screens to assist end users to visualize how an application will look after development.

For example, prototyping tools could be used to define application requirements that get passed to design technicians who convert the requirements into detailed designs in a traditional manner using flowcharts and narrative documents, without the assistance of automated design software.

What is the Waterfall Model? The waterfall model is a sequential design process, often used in software development processes, in which progress is seen as flowing steadily downwards (like a waterfall) through the phases of Conception, Initiation, Analysis, Design, Construction, Testing and Maintenance

What is Software Lifecycle? Software Lifecycle Management is the concept that an Independent software vendor can control how its software is licensed and used throughout its usable lifecycle.

What is Software Prototype Model? prototype modeled software has is the time frame of development. Instead of concentrating on documentation, more effort is placed in creating the actual software. This way, the actual software could be released in advance.

What is Software Spiral Model? The spiral model is a software development process combining elements of both design and prototyping-in-stages, in an effort to combine advantages of top-down and bottom-up concepts.

What is Software Object-Oriented Model? Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a programming paradigm that uses "objects" – data structures consisting of data fields and methods together with their interactions – to design applications and computer programs.

What is Software Assembly Model? Assembly Modeling is technology and methods used by Computer-aided design and Product visualization computer software systems to handle multiple files that represent components within a product. The components within an assembly are represented as solid or surface models.

What is Software Mixed Model? A mixed model is a statistical model containing both fixed effects and random effects, that is mixed effects. These models are useful in a wide variety of disciplines in the physical, biological and social sciences.
