MM1/MM2 ITU Mediacom April 2001 Issues for Tools Based on the MOU, define the various "Business Objects" to be used in e-commerce, starting with network-oriented objects Agreement needed to use ASN.1 (X.208 and X.209) for – the notation to be employed in the definition of structures and protocols for use in e-commerce applications – compact representations available for e-commerce objects (for example, certificates on smart-cards) – how to ensure version compatibility of e-commerce objects and protocols. Reference implementations of various protocols
