Available primarily to full-time, matriculated students, the program supports students throughout their college careers within the University.

Helpful Tips for SUNY Applications  Pay Your Application Fee There is a non-refundable application fee of $50 per campus selection. Submit Your Supplemental Applications. In addition to your online application, some campuses may require or recommend supplemental application, which may include an essay question. You will be directed to return to apply SUNY to complete those supplemental applications.

Privates Two ways to apply to private colleges: 1)Completing individual college application through college Or 2)Common Application- www.commonapp.org

What is HEOP? The Higher Education Opportunity Program is a partnership between the State of New York and its independent, PRIVATE colleges which provides economically and educationally disadvantaged residents the possibility of a college education. There are 58 HEOP programs throughout New York State!!!!

Income Requirements for Educational Programs: SEEK/CD/EOP/HEOP

Am I eligible for SEEK/CD/EOP/HEOP? ELIGIBILITY A State resident for 12 months prior to enrollment; Require special admissions consideration: your GPA & SAT scores must be within a certain range. You must qualify as economically disadvantaged according to the guidelines. In selecting students for the program, priority is given to applicants from historically disadvantaged backgrounds. Note: Applicants deemed ineligible for these programs may still qualify for admission and financial aid through other admission processes.

Helpful General Tips for the College Application Process 1. Meet with your College Advisor before submitting your CUNY/SUNY/Common Application!!!! If you make an error it is difficult to correct 2. Must send SAT scores to schools directly through College Board: www.collegeboard.org CUNY Code is UAPC SUNY & Private are directly to each individual school 3. Print out a copy for your records and your college file 4. Stay Organized!!! 5. When in doubt…ask for help!!
