Tornado True or False - Answer - At approximately 12:50pm on April 5 th 1972, an F3 tornado tore through Vancouver, Washington killing 6 people and injuring 300 in an elementary school, grocery store and bowling alley. It was the deadliest tornado in the United States that year and stands to this day as the deadliest recorded tornado to strike west of the Rocky Mountains in modern times (1950-Present).
