Visual Learners: Auditory Learners: Kinesthetic/ Learners: Characteristics of Learners  Remember written directions well.  Need to see material to learn.  May be artistic.  May have difficulties focusing on lectures if there are few visuals.  Very good at remembering what they hear.  May have difficulties remembering things that they have read. Also may have difficulties reading and/or writing.  Can find it hard to read facial and body language.  Need hands- on/active learning (touch and movement).  Don’t require instructions to assemble something.  Can have difficulties if have to remain seated for a long period of time.

Visual Learners: Auditory Learners: Kinesthetic/ Learners: How the “Total Classroom Solution” enhances the learning environment  Digital projector provides large, easy to see images.  Interactive board or pad provides the visual stimulation to keep students engaged.  Document cameras bring small objects to the big screen for enhanced illustration.  Interactive Lessons State aligned interactive lessons teach digital content that is familiar to students.  Audio Ceiling-mounted or mobile presentation cart speakers disperse clear audio signals throughout the room.  Microphones infrared microphone system allows every student to hear the teacher as if he/she was standing next to them.  Interactive content utilize sounds to invoke the auditory learner.  Interactive whiteboard and/or pad provide the opportunity for students to have hands on learning experience.  Student response system allows every student to respond to the teacher through keypad input.  Tablet PC allows students to take notes and respond from their desks.
