2 CHIME Survey  eHI conducted a joint survey with CHIME to assess the use of data and analytics within hospitals and health networks.  Over 90 responses received during four-week period.  Areas of focus were: –types of data used –types of analytic functions used –types of functions needed –challenges to the use of data and analytics

3 Respondents  CIO members of CHIME  Type of organizations –Community hospital (36%) –Multi-hospital (30%) –Academic medical center (16%) –Clinic (8%)  73% of organizations reported annual revenues of more than $10,000,000
