WHAT IS BLOGGING?

A definition from blogger.com  “A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking- news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world.”  “In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or you. Or not.”

How are blogs used on UrbanMinistry.org?  UrbanMinistry.org is a social network and shared resource bank for people interested in faith-based social services.  Our bloggers provide insightful articles, links, video and other media on our twenty-five Christian justice issues located at  The goal of a blogger is to promote awareness of our justice issues within the Christian community to bring social change.
