Saturday  It was on November 13 that the Comenius team arrived in Krakow aro und lunch time. We headed to the hotel and then went to lunch and visit the city, facing us with the first big difference, night falls at 16 hours!  In the evening, it was decided to visit the rest of Krakow on a bus, a much more efficient way to know the city.

Sunday  In the morning we went to see the concentration camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau, wherewe learn much of the reality that happened in the '40s, what impressed me a lot!  We return to Krakow and in the evening, we went to Gorlice, with the Spanish team,where we finally met with host families.  Then I went home for dinner with the family, and soon I was faced with its simplicity and sympathy.

Monday  On the first day I arrived to school immediately met with a lot of people I could talk, whatpleased me greatly. We had lunch at school and then decided to go meet Gorlice.Later I could go back to school and play sports with some very nice students.  At the night, we had diner in one of the most famous bars in town, this was one of the times in which we talk more in group.

Tuesday  On this day, the Comenius project was invited by the major of Gorlice to know a little better the city. We also visited a museum where we learned some of the history of Gorlice  In the afternoon we decided to do something different and went to play bolling, which was a very fun experience. Then we went to a park and ate lunch hot dogs, which are very different from the portuguese.  At night, I was home where we could share ideas, learn and teach many realities about the two countries.

Wednesday  In the morning we visited the mountains of Zakopane, where unfortunately we found no snow but it was really fun...  Already in the afternoon, we enter in a church that was a symbol of thanksgiving to ”Nossa Senhora de Fatima”. Then we went to see the city of Zakopane.

Thursday  It was on Thursday that I found with the education in Poland, one time I went to school, where, for example, explained how it worked teaching in Portugal, as was our country, etc.. But I could also discover the differences between the Portuguese and Polish schools, because in all the rooms there was a cross of Christ and a country flag.  At lunchtime I was invited by the host family for a typical meal.  In the afternoon we return to Krakow. We decided to have dinner at the shopping center and make a final visit to the beautiful city of Krakow, which was a great moment for me.

Friday  Unfortunately, we had to go back. During the trip I was able to reflect about everything that happened and I can say it was perfect. The climate and the people I dealt with, everything was great. I realized that this trip was much more than that, as a way to get to know me better, realize what I can do and strive for what I want!
