Impact on Climate What We Know w CRE impacts discipline climate, but impacts on disciplinary actions (suspensions, expulsions) is unclear w CRE effects on school climate are greater for elementary schools than middle and high schools w Superiority of whole school programs on school climate is not proven

Impact on Climate What We Know contd w CRE has positive impact on classroom climate, especially when climate is measured as the use of constructive conflict behaviors and/or the tendency to use constructive conflict behaviors

Implications for Practice w Implement and examine conflict-theory based programs w Measure students conflict competencies and use of program procedures w Attend to the feasibility of program implementation w Focus on academic achievement w Measure attitudes and perceptions about the conflict program
