OLD FORM OF GOVERNMENT Like a modular home, everything is pre-fabricated.

NEW FORM OF GOVERNMENT Is more like a truck delivering to us all the parts we need to put the presbytery together, but it is up to us in how we build an organizational structure that makes sense for us in our context

What is the role of Presbytery Leadership in: 1.guiding the Presbytery into a new vision, organizational structure that will change the culture of the Presbytery? 2.And what are the Adaptive Challenges we are facing?

PRESENT ADAPTIVE CHALLNGES Due to a multiplicity of issues, many beyond our control, we do not know how, and may not be able become the missional, relational, learning community we have envisioned and claimed, on paper, that we want to be. The way God could send us into our context for the sake of the kingdom may not occur.

PERSONAL ACTION PLAN FOR what can I do to try on some new behavior and practices in which I am an active participant in what it is we are wanting the presbytery to be? 2. What are ways we can practice our way into a new way of being and experience the value of being a connectional church and the joy of being in this sacred community called a presbytery? 3. What metaphor best describes my role?
